It’s been a busy year at Cycle The City. As we head into Bristol’s summer, we thought we’d update you on some of the latest news from HQ…
We reckon the best way to see Bristol is by bike, and we’ve been joined by an awful lot of people who think so, too. We’re delighted to have become a Bristol stop-in for visitors from all over the world. Our intrepid riders have come from all over, including: the USA, Italy, France, Brunei, Colombia, New Zealand, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, aaaaand…. Bristol.
They’ve explored Bristol’s best views and cultural highlights, from its street art to its markets, as well as stretching further afield to Bath, Portishead, and Stonehenge. Big up to the girls who rode 56 miles to Stonehenge in two days!
Bristolians, don’t let the rest of the world beat you to it. Come explore Bristol by bike.
Out of office: on a bike
Recently the British Cycling Team dropped by to map out the annual Bristol Sky Ride, using our fleet of bikes. (It was, by the way, a massive success, with more than 6000 cyclists of all ages turning out to cycle 15k across the city one sunny day in June. See you next year, Sky Riders!) Plus Santander Bank got their staff out of the bank and onto a bike. They went for their Santander Flame Relay, a day in the sun, and some out-of-office bonding. We prefer our meetings in the sun, wind in our hair, too.
Finally, we were delighted to recently be awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, based on our consistently positive reviews. Thank you to everyone who has written about our bikes and tours! We hope to see you again soon.
