The Women of Bristol

Join us as we mark International Women’s Day with a unique bike tour, celebrating some of the remarkable women who have shaped the City.
Accompanied by a local guide, you’ll venture through Bristol; reliving defining moments, discovering why Bristol has long been a forward-thinking city, and even the important role of cycling in the history of equal opportunities.
Along the car-free route, there’ll be stories, sights and plenty of time for photographs; there’ll also be a pit-stop for refreshments at the excellent Spoke & Stringer restaurant.
Time/Date: 11am March 11th, 2017.
Abilities: All! Even if you haven’t cycled for years; the tour is flat, car-free and relaxed.
Cost: £10 per person, or £7 if you bring your own bike.
Duration: 2-hours, appox.
Meeting Place: The tour gets underway from No.1 Harbourside (next door to the Tourist Information Centre).
